Dataracks, the 19-inch enclosure manufacturer, has introduced a Server Cabinet to complement its range of floor-standing and wall-mounted enclosures. The new range of cabinets has been developed by Dataracks' skilled engineers in response to market requests for a dedicated server cabinet to house servers and associated equipment.

The FP Server range comes fitted with server compatible mounting posts as standard mounting posts to suit all main server models, including Compaq®, Dell®, IBM®, Intel® and Sun®.

It is available in heights of 27U, 42U and 47U, widths of 600, 700 or 780mm and a depth of 920mm as standard. Also, as you would expect from Dataracks, the Server Cabinet can also be manufactured to suit individual requirements, for example cabinets can be finished in custom/corporate colours. To cope with the thermal demand brought about by encasing servers, Dataracks offers a choice of ventilated doors to allow for adequate front-to-back ventilation.

This new Server Cabinet can be supplied and configured with a number of other Dataracks' optional accessories. Mid-mounting posts can be fitted to the cabinet to allow equipment and also accessories of varying depths to be mounted within the same cabinet.
